‘No sugar, no spice’ – South African legend hails Osimhen after Rwanda heroics

South African football legend Shaun Bartlett has praised Victor Osimhen’s match-winning performance against Rwanda in Nigeria’s World Cup qualifier.

The former Bafana Bafana striker lauded Osimhen’s efficiency in front of goal, highlighting his precision and results-driven approach.

Speaking as a pundit on Super Sports, Bartlett described Osimhen as a “goal machine,” saying:

“He’s not about flair. For him, it’s about stats. It’s about scoring goals, being in the right position, and using your physicality.”

Osimhen’s two-goal heroics against Rwanda have renewed hopes for Nigeria’s 2026 World Cup qualification campaign. As the Super Eagles prepare to face Zimbabwe in their next qualifier, Osimhen’s form will be crucial to the country’s chances of reaching the tournament.
