AFCON 2025
Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona recorded big wins in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final matches.
The newly-crowned French champions thrashed Premier League side Aston Villa at the Parc Des Princes.
Desire Doue, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Nuno Mendes scored for PSG in the comfortable 3-1 win over Unai Emery’s men.
Meanwhile, Barcelona took part in Borussia Dortmund at home to put themselves in good stead to qualify for the last four of the competition.
Robert Lewandowski scored twice while Lamine Yamal and Raphinha scored a goal each in the comfortable home win over the German Bundesliga team.
