Gabonese football star, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made a surprise appearance at the 2025 Bahrain Grand Prix, linking up with seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton, who recently joined Scuderia Ferrari.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona striker was seen in the Ferrari paddock, sharing moments with Hamilton ahead of the race.
Aubameyang documented his visit on social media, posting photos alongside Hamilton and expressing admiration for the driver’s performance.
Hamilton, who started the race from ninth position, showcased his racing prowess by finishing fifth, overtaking several competitors including Max Verstappen. His performance earned him the ‘Driver of the Day’ accolade from fans.
The Bahrain Grand Prix was won by Oscar Piastri, marking his second victory of the season, followed by George Russell and Lando Norris.
