Nigerian international and Fulham midfielder, Alex Iwobi has expanded his musical repertoire with the release of his latest single, “Hop Out,” featuring acclaimed Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck and British artist Ramz.
The track, which debuted on major streaming platforms today, marks Iwobi’s third foray into the music scene, following his previous singles “Don’t Shoot” and “What’s Luv?”.
“Hop Out” blends Afrobeat rhythms with UK rap influences, showcasing the diverse talents of its collaborators. Odumodublvck, known for his energetic delivery and recent accolades, including the 2024 Leadership Newspaper’s Artist of the Year Award, brings a dynamic verse to the track.
Ramz, recognized for his hit single “Barking,” adds a melodic touch that complements the song’s vibrant production.
Iwobi, who performs under the moniker “17,” has expressed that music serves as a creative outlet beyond his football career. In previous interviews, he stated, “Music has always been a passion of mine, and a way for me to express myself away from football”.
