AC Milan staged a comeback from a goal down to secure a comfortable 3-1 victory over Bologna on Friday night.
Nigeria’s Samuel Chukwueze, who has struggled to break into AC Milan’s first 11, came on as a substitute, and his introduction in the second half revitalized Milan’s attack, leading to three goals that turned the game around, resulting in a 3-1 win.
Manager Sergio Conceição started Christian Pulisic and João Felix, while Raphael Leão was suspended, leaving Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze on the bench.

AC Milan began the game strongly but failed to capitalize on their first-half chances. They were punished when Bologna’s Riccardo Orsolini scored the opening goal before halftime.
However, Chukwueze’s entry in the second half sparked a potent Milan attack. Santiago Gimenez equalized, and Pulisic then gave the hosts the lead.
In injury time, Gimenez sealed the win with the third goal, assisted by Chukwueze, capping an impressive performance.
The victory places AC Milan eighth in the standings, three points behind fourth-placed Juventus in the race for next season’s European football.
