Arsenal defensive midfielder Declan Rice is hoping that the Gunners will sign some excellent players in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners failed to challenge Liverpool for the Premier League title, having been hit with several injuries to key players at crucial points of the season.
Mikel Arteta’s men had to settle for second position for the third time in a row and had to beat Newcastle 1-0 at the Emirates to secure UEFA Champions League football next season.
Many fans had to blame the manager and the board for failing to address the basic issues the team was facing in the transfer window.
Following Arsenal’s revenge on Newcastle on Sunday evening, Rice made mention of the Gunners bringing in new players in the transfer window.
According to Hand of Arsenal on X, Rice said, “Hopefully we sign some players in the summer because we are going to lose some.”

Arsenal failed to bring in any players during the January transfer window and could lose some players at the end of the season.
There is an urgent need for a striker, as well as a left-back and a new winger to provide competition for the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.
