Nigerian football fans are rallying support for Nottingham Forest to secure Champions League football jext season by beating Chelsea on the final day of the Premier League.
The fans want Nottingham Forest to secure the victory and qualification for Champions League for the sake of their striker Awoniyi who came out of Induced coma last week.
Awoniyi clashed with the goal post against Leicester City last week and underwent two surgeries.
The Super Eagles was placed in an induced coma after suffering from a serious abdominal injury.
Awoniyi has wkoen up from the induced coma as he continues to recover from the surgery.
Nigerian football fans, particularly rival fans are showing support for Nottingham Forest as the Tricky Trees take on Chelsea as they look to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest coach Nuno Espirito Santo has called on his players to draw inspiration from Taiwo Awoniyi’s injury ahead of Chelsea’s visit.
The Portuguese manager added that they are playing for the Super Eagles striker as they look to beat Chelsea to the Champions League spot.
“It’s for Taiwo,” said Nuno. “He won’t be with us on the pitch, but what happened to him is still very much with us. We want to see him back with the group, fully healthy and smiling again. So this is for him—our team, the supporters, the whole city.”
A win for Nottingham Forest will qualify for the Champions League if Aston Villa fails to pick maximum points against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
