3 things to know about latest Super Eagles invitee, Adamu Abubakar

Adamu Abubakar, a rising star in Nigerian football, has recently earned his first call-up to the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming Unity Cup tournament in London.

The 27-year-old forward from Plateau United is among several Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) talents selected by head coach Eric Chelle to bolster the national team.

Since joining Plateau United in August 2024, Abubakar has become a key figure in the squad. His performances have not only helped his club maintain a strong position in the league but have also caught the attention of national team selectors.
