Stanislav Agkatsev, one of Russia’s national team goalkeepers says the Super Eagles of Nigeria are one of the strongest teams in recent years as they prepare to take on the three-time African champions.

Agkatsev added that Nigeria are on a good level and the showdown between both countries at the Luzhniki Stadium will be an interesting one.

The 23-year-old Krasnodar goalkeeper made these claims in a chat with a media outfit TASS recently.

Nigeria has a very good level. Probably one of the strongest teams in recent times.

“I am sure that a very interesting game awaits us. Of course, I would like to play with any strong team, there are many strong ones.”

The Super Eagles go into the fixture having recently won the Unity Cup on London with victories over Ghana and Jamaica last week.
