The new football season is weeks away, and Manchester United’s first-team players are back at the club for pre-season training.
New signings Matheus Cunha and Pedro Leon met with their new teammates for the first time at the club’s training facility on Monday morning.
The players showed up in style as they gear up for the pre-season tour of the United States before the season starts on August 15.
Some of the players who resumed on Monday are Amad Diallo, Harry Amass, Toby Collyer, Matheus Cunha, Matthijs De Ligt, Tyler Fredrickson, Tom Heaton (GK), Ayden Heaven, Pedro León, Kobbie Mainoo, Noussair Mazraoui, Mason Mount, Andre Onana, Luke Shaw, and Joshua Zirkzee.
Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, and Antony did not resume with the rest of the squad as they have been confirmed to leave the club this summer.
Rashford has been linked with a move to Barcelona, while Juventus are the latest club to show interest in Jadon Sancho.
Aston Villa opted out of signing the English international for £40 million at the end of his six-month loan spell last season.
Napoli are keen on bringing Alejandro Garnacho to Naples, but the Argentine winger prefers to stay in the Premier League.
Antony, after a successful loan spell at Real Betis last season, wants a move away from Old Trafford, but his wage demands have stalled negotiations with potential suitors.
Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, and Antony are among the five players confirmed to leave Manchester United before the start of the season.
