Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has firmly rejected suggestions of competition within the squad amid transfer speculation linking him with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
The Senegalese forward reaffirmed his commitment to Enzo Maresca’s team, despite the club’s recent signings of attackers João Pedro and Liam Delap.
Reports had connected Jackson with a potential transfer to Manchester United, but the 23-year-old emphasized his focus on contributing to Chelsea’s success.
“Competition? I have no competition,” Jackson told DSports TV.
“We are all here to help the club. Everyone has their role to play. I’m on a mission.
“It’s up to the coach to make his choices. I focus solely on my work.”
Jackson, who joined Chelsea from Villarreal in 2023, remains determined to make an impact at the club. Meanwhile, the Blues have finalised a move for Ajax defender Jorrel Hato, and are close to signing Leipzig playmaker Xavi Simons.
