Wilfred has told fans of Turkish Super League side, Besiktas that he would try his best to help the team win as many games as possible.
Ndidi made the promise after completing his medical examination as a new Besiktas player at the Acibadam Saglik Hospital.
When asked to send the fans a message, Ndidi says he wants them to enjoy the season as he will try his best to help the club win more games.
I want them to enjoy this season and uh, we’ll see what comes out of the season. Uh, we’ll see, try my best to support the team, be part of the team and also uh, try my best to uh, for us to win more games because more games gives trophy. So we’ll see how it goes, yeah.
Wilfred Ndidi will sign a three-year contract until 2028 with Besiktas as he takes on a new challenge after his nine-year stint at Leicester City.
The 28-year-old midfielder helped Leicester City to the FA Cup and FA Community Shield in 2021 as well as the 2024 English Championship title.
Ndidi joins a list of prominent Super Eagles players: Daniel Amokachi, Ike Shorunmu, Michael Eneramo among others who have played for the Istanbul-based club.
