Aston Villa Thrash Freiburg 3-0 To Win Europa League

Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi has etched his name in history as the fastest player to score 875 career goals, reaching this milestone in a 3-1 victory over LA Galaxy on Saturday night.
The 38-year-old Argentine legend, returning from injury, came off the bench for 45 minutes, dazzling with a trademark solo goal that showcased his stupendous skill.
Messi achieved the 875-goal mark in just 1,116 matches—the fewest games ever for such a feat. Messi’s professional career began on May 1, 2005, when he scored his first goal for Barcelona against Albacete.
Coming on as a substitute in the 87th minute at just 17 years old, he netted a delicate lob from a Ronaldinho pass, sealing a 2-0 win.
He now trails rival Cristiano Ronaldo, the all-time leading scorer with 938 goals, by 63. Alongside his 875 goals, Messi has recorded 389 assists, highlighting his playmaking genius.
Since returning from the Club World Cup, Messi has continued his excellent form, and expectations are soaring for him to shine at the 2026 World Cup, after which some anticipate he may retire.
