Ademola Lookman’s desperation to leave Atalanta has reportedly reached a critical point after a series of failed bids and unsanctioned absences.
The 27-year-old Nigerian forward had set his sights on Inter Milan, but Atalanta’s refusal of a €45m offer, including add-ons, derailed the move. In response, Lookman boycotted pre-season training for weeks, only to see negotiations collapse and Inter walk away.

Now relegated to training alone, he remains estranged from the first team. Lookman’s camp are determined to force a transfer out of Bergamo, and have reportedly reached out to England’s top clubs—Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, and Aston Villa—in the past 48 hours, according to TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey.
Arsenal, long admirers of the former Everton star, have yet to make a concrete move, but could do so before the window closes.
Lookman scored an impressive 20 goals and contributed seven assists in 40 matches last season.
