Nicolas Jackson has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Bayern Munich, and talks between Chelsea and the reigning Bundesliga champions are now underway to negotiate a potential loan deal, which could include an obligation to buy.
Jackson has been linked to a couple of clubs this summer, including a reunion with his former manager Unai Emery (at Aston Villa), the manager who gave him his breakthrough when he first moved to Europe.
However, in the last 48 hours, the German club has successfully agreed personal terms with the former Villarreal striker.
Chelsea reportedly want a fee in the region of £60million if they are to sell Jackson outright.

However, the Club World Cup champions are open to a loan move to get his wages off the books, especially as they pursue a deal for Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho, who is keen to join the club.
Jackson’s representatives are in London to finalise the deal as soon as possible ahead of the closure of the summer transfer window next week.
The arrival of Liam Delap, Joao Pedro this summer means the 24-year-old will get limited playing time this season as he becomes the third choice striker.
Nicolas Jackson’s imminent departure comes less than a year after signing a new contract.
Nevertheless, Jackson’s numbers: 24 goals and 10 assists in 64 league appearances, reveal the Senegalese striker has been quite decent, but Enzo Maresca appears to prefer a different profile of striker.
