Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers is settling well at Panathiniakos as he found the back of the net in his second start.
Dessers scored in the Greek Derby as Panathiniakos and Olympiacos played out a one-all draw on Sunday.
The Nigerian striker put Panathiniakos ahead three minutes into the second half as he latched into a through pass before smashing the ball underneath the goalkeeper.
Dessers’ goal is his first in the league after he scored his first for the club in the win over Athens Kallithea in the Greek Cup.
Unfortunately, Dessers goal couldn’t secure maximum points for the host as Ayoub El Kaabi’s equalizer in added time secured a point for the visitors.
Panathiniakos are are 12th on the league table with two points from three matches.
Meanwhile, Panathiniakos remain winless against Olympiacos in their last meetings.
