Nigeria’s Super Eagles sealed their spot into the last eight of the Africa Cup of Nations with a majestic performance over Mozambique.

The three-time African champions were dominant from the blast of the first whistle to the last in a one-sided affair in Fes on Monday night.

As the rain poured down, so did the goals as the Super Eagles tore their COSAFA opponents apart with precision.

While Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen and Akor Adams scored for fun, Alex Iwobi put up another stellar performance putting passes from deep into the final third effortlessly.

Ademola Lookman bagged his second Man of the Match award as he scored his third goal of the tournament and provided two assists in the emphatic win.

Victor Osimhen scored twice off Ademola Lookman and Akor Adams assists to raise his tally to three in the tournament.

Akor Adams powered in a right-footed strike into the roof of the net to score his first goal of the tournament after providing two assists.

The match ended 4-0 as the Super Eagles progressed into the quarter-finals of the competition as they wait for either Algeria or DR Congo.
