Paul Onuachu has set his sights on the Turkish Süper Lig title after inspiring Trabzonspor to a crucial 2:1 victory over Galatasaray.

Speaking after the game, the Nigerian striker praised his team’s effort and determination in front of their home supporters.

“We really fought hard in front of these fans,” Onuachu said. “We gave our all to win. We respect Galatasaray, they have very good players. We got the reward for our hard work.”

The 31-year-old was central to Trabzonspor’s performance as they secured a result that could prove decisive in the title race.

Despite the significance of the win, Onuachu made it clear the team is not getting carried away, insisting their focus remains on consistency in the final stretch of the season.

“We have tough matches ahead of us, but we’ll take it one match at a time,” he added. “We’ll go out to win every game.”

“Galatasaray could drop points against Göztepe. We’ll win the remaining matches, look ahead, and see what happens.”
