After a seemingly cagey affair, Semenyo’s goal lit up the FA Cup final as Chelsea pushed for an equaliser.
Darren England waved off two penalty appeals from Chelsea after João Pedro and Jorrel Hato fell in the box.
Rayan Cherki powered a left-footed strike towards goal late on but Robert Sanchez made a brilliant save with his right hand to deny the Frenchman.
