Manchester United legendary defender Patrice Evra believes Victor Osimhen is one of the missing pieces the club needs to get this summer.
Evra added that Michael Carrick’s team need to have more strikers given that they will be playing in several competitions next season.
Patrice Evra shared his thoughts with GOAL in a postseason review of Manchester United after the Red Devils finished third with 71 points.
“Osimhen. I have all due respect for Galatasaray, the love he gets there, and what the player is like.”
Man United need a proper striker, and I have so much respect for the strikers at Man United, sometimes [Bryan] Mbuemo. But, back in the day, we had four amazing strikers, and if you want to play every competition, you need more strikers.”
“Of course, you need some defenders, like an extra left back, because you could have an injury and a right-back.
“Of course, Casemiro is leaving, so you need to replace those players. To name one player, I say Osimhen because I know these guys can make the difference.”
Osimhen has been linked to a move to the Premier League for the past three seasons but the deal has consistently failed to materialise.
The Super Eagles striker led Galatasaray to their 26th League title last week as he won his second league triumph with the Lions.
