The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has secured a new YouTube live-streaming partnership with Murphy Ben International, in a move set to make more domestic league matches accessible to football fans for free.
Under the agreement, selected NPFL matches will be streamed live on the league’s official YouTube channel, while several other fixtures will be made available on a delayed basis each matchday.
The matches will be broadcast in high definition and will be accessible to viewers at no cost, providing fans with another avenue to follow the domestic league.
The partnership is expected to increase the visibility and accessibility of the NPFL, particularly for supporters who are unable to attend matches in stadiums or access traditional broadcast platforms.
While not every fixture will be shown live, the combination of live and delayed broadcasts will give fans greater access to matches throughout the season.
The agreement comes as the NPFL continues efforts to improve the league’s digital presence and expand its reach beyond traditional matchday audiences.
With the official YouTube channel serving as the platform for the broadcasts, supporters will be able to follow selected matches online without a subscription fee.
