Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman marked his debut for Atletico Madrid with a goal and assist as the Rojiblancos swept Real Betis apart in the Copa Del Rey quarter-final.
The 28-year-old forward completed his €40 million move from Atalanta on Tuesday and immediately made an impact 48 hours later.
Ademola Lookman started in attack alongside veteran French forward, Antoine Griezmann in the 5-0 rout on Real Betis.
Lookman received a fine pass from Griezmann in blistering counterattacking move, beat three players before spotting the ball into the back of the net to put Atletico Madrid 3-0 up in the first half.
The Super Eagles forward returned the favour in similar fashion in the second half as Griezmann scored Atletico Madrid’s fourth goal of the night.
