Al-Hilal are reportedly ready to offer Mohammed Salah a lucrative deal should the Egyptian decide to leave Liverpool this January transfer window or in the summer.
The Saudi Pro League side are according to reports, willing to offer Salah a deal worth £65m for two years.
Mohammed Salah has been linked with a move away from Liverpool for months as his contract extension talks continue to linger.
The Egyptian forward’s current contract expires at the end of the season and talks on a renewal has stalled so far.
Liverpool had rejected Al Ittihad’s £150m offer for the forward in August 2023.
When asked if he really believes this is his last season at the Liverpool, Salah told Sky Sports‘ Patrick Davison: “So far, yes. It’s the last six months. There is no progress there. We are far away from any progress. So, we just need to wait and see.”
Salah has not hidden his intention to move away from the Reds at the end of the season even though he has been imperious for the club so far this season.
The 32-year-old forward has 21 goals, 17 assists in 29 matches so far this season as Liverpool continue to compete favorably in the continental and domestic competitions.
Al-Hilal consider Salah as replacement for Brazilian forward Neymar whose contract expires in the summer.
In a related development, the face of Saudi Arabia’s Sports and Entertaiment, Turki Alalshikh, posted an edited picture of Mohammed Salah in Al-Hilal shirt on his Facebook page which indicates that the deal to bring Salah to Saudi Arabia is very likely to happen.
