Alexander Iwobi has been nominated for the Premier League’s March Player of the Month Award.
The Fulham FC midfielder has been instrumental to Fulham’s run this season, often operating in a deep role alongside Sander Berge.
Iwobi scored a brilliant goal against Tottenham Hotspur using his instep to provide an accurate finish from range.
Other nominees include Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes, who scored two goals and registered four assists in four matches for the Red Devils in March.
The Portuguese midfielder surpassed Daniel Beckham’s record for the most assists by a Manchester United player in a single campaign.
Beckham had 15 assists in 199/2000 season, while Fernandes currently has 16 with about seven matches left in the season.
Danny Welbeck
The former Manchester United striker is having the best season of his career in terms of goal returns. Welbeck scored the winning goals against Nottingham Forest and Liverpool in March to help the Seagulls climb from 14th place to 10th in the Premier League table.
Welbeck’s brace against Liverpool took his goal tally for the season up to 12, which is now the best return of the 35-year-old’s career.
Danny Welbeck is the highest-scoring Englishman in the Premier League this season.
Arsenal’s David Raya, Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon, Everton’s James Garner, and Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White also had impressive performances in March and are in contention for the prize.

In the Coach of the Month category, five managers are in contention for the prize, including Mikel Arteta and Regis Lebris.
Mikel Arteta led Arsenal to victories against Chelsea, Brighton, Hove and Albion, and Everton in March.
The Spaniard is close to leading the Gunners to their first Premier League title in 22 years after opening a nine-point gap over Manchester City at the top of the table.
Regis Le Bris
Sunderland’s manager, Regis Lebris, started the month with a win away at Leeds United and bounced back from the defeat to Brighton with a hard-fought victory over eternal rivals, Newcastle United, at St. James’ Park.
Regis Le Bris became just the second Sunderland manager to record a Premier League double against Newcastle, after Gus Poyet during the 2013/14 season.
Fabian Hurzeler
The German manager helped Brighton and Hove Albion to climb from 14th to 10th on the Premier League table with victories against Nottingham Forest, Sunderland, and Liverpool.
Brighton, Hove, and Albion won three of their four matches in March, with the only loss coming against title-favorites Arsenal.
David Moyes had a decent run in March as well, with the highlight being the 3-0 win over Chelsea at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, which marks the second time Everton won two successive matches at their home turf.
Eddie Howe led Newcastle to wins against Manchester United at home with ten men and Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge. However, the Toon Army ended the month on a disappointing note, losing to rivals, Sunderland, at home despite going ahead after 10 minutes.
