Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi will release a new track titled “Hop out the motor” later this month as he continues to forge ahead with his music career.
Alex Iwobi previewed his new track with his Super Eagles teammates and shared snippets on his Snapchat story on Wednesday.
The track is set to be released on March 27 – two days after Super Eagles World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
Iwobi released his second official single “What’s Love” featuring SKPS and MBrown in October 2024. The midfielder celebrated with his African roots with a blend of Rap and Afroswing with the track.
According to Iwobi, he sees music as an opportunity to express himself and talk about issues dare to him. He also uses music as a way of inspiring people on and off the pitch.
The Fulham midfielder is currently in camp with the Super Eagles in Kigali as they take on the Amavubi of Rwanda in a crucial 2026 FIFA World cup qualifier on Friday.
Rwanda will host three time African Champions, Nigeria on Friday for matchday five of the FIFA World Cup qualifier at the newly-renovated Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
