Manchester United finally won their first match in this season’s Europa League with a 2 nil win over Greek champions PAOK.
Amad Diallo’s brace in the second half made the difference on a night where the Red Devils were largely disappointing.

PAOk on the hand looked quite a balanced side and showed intent but lacked the quality to punish Man United’s sloppy and uninspiring display.
Amad Diallo eventually gave the home side the lead on the 50th minute as he headed Bruno Fernandes’ sublime cross beyond the reach of PAOK’s goalkeeper Kortaski.
Even though Man United had the lead, Ruud Van Nisterooy’s men looked shaky in defence as they struggled to play out of PAOK’s high press.
The Greek champions almost equalized but Tarik Tolissoudali’s left-footed strike was comfortably saved by Onana.
Diallo doubled Man United’s lead on the 77th minute with a brillint culrer from the edge of the box after dispossesing Ghanian defender Abdul Rahman Baba.
The Red Devils held on to the lead till the end as they secures their first win of the competition after three previous attempts.
Manchester United are now 16th on the Europa League table with 6 points after 4 matches.
