Defending world champions Argentina have arrived in the United States to begin the final phase of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which kicks off in 10 days.

The Albiceleste will set up their training base at the Sporting KC Training Centre in Kansas City as they seek to win a fourth World Cup title. According to reports from SuperDepor.com, the South American giants will use the state-of-the-art facility throughout their pre-tournament camp.

Opened in 2018, the Sporting KC Training Centre was developed through a multi-million-dollar partnership involving Sporting Kansas City, the United States Soccer Federation, and Children’s Mercy Hospital. The complex is regarded as one of the finest football training facilities in North America.

The centre boasts five modern pitches, including the renowned “SuperPitch,” which combines three adjoining fields. It also features two synthetic turf surfaces equipped with LED floodlights and a dedicated Coaches’ Pavilion designed for tactical analysis and video review.

Players and staff will also have access to a 1,200-square-metre gymnasium, which includes advanced strength-training equipment as well as synthetic turf areas for speed and conditioning exercises.

Kansas City will play a significant role in Argentina’s World Cup journey, with one of their group-stage matches scheduled to take place in the city. Their other two group fixtures will be held in Dallas, a relatively short flight of approximately 90 minutes away.
