Arsenal Crowned 2025/26 Premier League Champions

Arsenal have been crowned 2025/26 Premier League champions after securing the title with one game left to play following an outstanding campaign under manager Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners sealed the title after nearest challengers Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. Arsenal had earlier done their part with a narrow 1-0 victory over Burnley FC.

The triumph marks Arsenal’s 14th English top-flight title and their first Premier League crown in 22 years, since the famous “Invincibles” side led by Arsène Wenger won the league unbeaten during the 2003/04 season.

Arteta also becomes the first Arsenal manager since Wenger to guide the club to the Premier League title, completing a remarkable rise after the club finished runners-up in each of the previous three seasons.

Arsenal have enjoyed a dominant campaign, winning 25 of their 37 league matches, drawing seven and losing only five. Their defensive strength proved crucial, with goalkeeper David Raya keeping 19 clean sheets and reportedly securing a third consecutive Golden Glove award.

The North London side began the season strongly with a 1-0 win over Manchester United FC and went on to win nine of their opening 10 matches. Arsenal spent 200 days at the top of the table before briefly being overtaken by Manchester City on goal difference late in the campaign.

However, four straight victories without conceding helped them reclaim first place and eventually secure the championship.

The title is Arsenal’s 32nd major trophy overall and further cements their place among England’s most successful clubs, behind only Manchester United FC and Liverpool FC in total league titles won.

Arsenal now have the opportunity to complete one of the greatest seasons in the club’s history when they face Paris Saint-Germain FC in the UEFA Champions League final in Budapest on May 30, as they chase their first-ever European Cup title.
