Mikel Obi has come under severe criticisms from Arsenal fans after the Chelsea legend accused Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal of playing “illegal” football via corner kicks.
Obi accused Arsenal players of always impeding goalkeepers in the six yard box whenever a corner is about to be taken.
The 2012 Champions League winner expressed his thoughts in his podcast “Obi One” sometimes ago but resurfaced online which has caused a handful of reactions from Arsenal fans on X.
Many Arsenal fans accused him of being a hypocrite given that he played under Jose Mourinho who is often regarded as a “Packing the bus” – a very defensive minded, coach.

Manchester United are the latest victim of Arsenal’s corner kicks onslaught as the Red Devils conceded twice in the 2-0 loss to the Gunners on Wednesday night.
Arsenal have now scored 22 goals via corner kicks since the start of last season.
