Atletico Madrid extended their unbeaten run to seven matches in all competitions as the Rojiblancos secured a slim win over Osassuna.

Substitute, Thiago Almada came off the bench and made an instant impact to help the host grab maximum points on the night.

Osassuna’s goalie Sergio Herrera denied Antoine Griezmman and Julian Alvarez in both half of the tie with two fantastic saves.

Thiago Almada eventually put the ball in the back of the net with a tap im into an empty net from Guiliano Simeone’s pass.
