Barcelona has teamed up with the Kobe Bryant brand to launch their 2025/26 away kit, marking a bold crossover between football and basketball in a tribute to the late NBA legend.
The kit, designed by Nike, features a gold base with purple and black accents mirroring the iconic colours of the Los Angeles Lakers, the team Bryant spent his entire career with.
In a major first, the traditional Nike Swoosh is replaced by Kobe’s personal “Sheath” logo, making Barcelona the first professional football team to wear his signature emblem on the pitch.

The jersey is part of a larger “Mamba Collection,” a multi-season collaboration that includes training gear, pre-match apparel, and limited-edition footwear.
The design also features subtle snakeskin patterns across the logos and crest, referencing Kobe’s “Black Mamba” persona and his philosophy of discipline and relentless excellence, values that align closely with Barça’s own sporting DNA.
Barcelona stars like Gavi, Alexia Putellas, and Alejandro Balde feature in the campaign video titled Mamba Rondo, which connects Kobe’s mindset with the club’s famous rondo passing drills.
The kit will debut during Barcelona’s preseason friendly against FC Seoul on July 31, while the full collection is available worldwide from July 29 on Nike’s official website, FC Barcelona’s online store, and select retailers.
