Inter Milan advanced to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals after a dramatic 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich at San Siro, securing a 4-3 aggregate victory.
The match remained goalless in the first half, but early in the second half, Harry Kane gave Bayern the lead, leveling the aggregate score.

Inter responded swiftly, with Lautaro Martínez equalizing and Benjamin Pavard heading in against his former club to extend Inter’s lead. Although Eric Dier scored late for Bayern, Inter’s defense held firm to secure their progression.
This victory marks Inter’s return to the Champions League semi-finals, where they will face Barcelona. The win also keeps their treble aspirations alive, as they currently lead Serie A and remain in contention for the Coppa Italia.
For Bayern, the elimination is a significant setback. Despite Harry Kane’s record-breaking performance—scoring against his 21st different Champions League opponent—Bayern’s defensive lapses proved costly.
