American tennis star, Ben Shelton has officially confirmed his relationship with U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT) soccer standout, Trinity Rodman through a recent Instagram post.
The 22-year-old athlete shared a series of photos, with the final image featuring Rodman affectionately kissing him on the cheek in an elevator mirror selfie. He captioned the post, “I been focused, but I’m steady climbin’, I’m nowhere near my peak.”
The announcement sparked enthusiastic reactions from fellow tennis professionals. Coco Gauff and Sloane Stephens both commented “hard launch” on the post, acknowledging the public revelation of the relationship.
Frances Tiafoe added, “We gram now,” accompanied by eye emojis, highlighting his surprise and approval.
Rodman, also 22, is a forward for the Washington Spirit in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and has been a prominent figure in U.S. women’s soccer.
She playfully responded to Shelton’s post with the comment, “Shooters shoot I guess,” referencing a recent TikTok trend that had fueled speculation about their relationship.
Both athletes come from notable sports backgrounds. Shelton is the son of former professional tennis player, Bryan Shelton, while Rodman is the daughter of NBA legend, Dennis Rodman.
