Enzo Maresca has resigned from his position as head coach of Chelsea Football Club, according to multiple sources.
The resignation of the Italian manager comes 48 hours after the relationship between him and the management of the club reportedly broke down.
Also, Chelsea’s recent run of poor results leading up to the end of 2025 raised tensions about the future of the former Leicester City manager.

Enzo Maresca signed as Chelsea’s manager in the summer of 2024 after a successful spell with Leicester City, where he helped the club regain promotion to the Premier League by winning the English Championship.
Maresca won a double in his first season as he led the club to the UEFA Conference League title and a historic FIFA World Club Cup in the United States last summer with an emphatic 3-0 win over reigning UEFA Champions League champions, PSG.
