Nigerian striker Gift Orban is attracting interest from several top European clubs, including Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and VFB Stuttgart.
The 23-year-old is expected to leave Lyon in January after failing to make an impact at the Ligue 1 club.
Despite his promising start at KAA Gent, Orban has struggled to replicate his form in France, scoring just five goals in 22 appearances.
Lyon’s financial struggles are also a factor in Orban’s likely departure, as the club is under pressure to offload players and cut down on the wage bill.
Trabzonspor have also been credited with an interest in the forward who was signed by Lyon for around €14m in January 2023.
A move to the Bundesliga or Turkish Super Lig could be just what Orban needs to revive his career, and a resolution should be reached in the upcoming January transfer window.
