RB Leipzig produced a stunning performance on the road, thrashing Augsburg 6–0 in one of the biggest wins of the Bundesliga season so far.
Second-placed RB Leipzig delivered a statement victory with a 6-0 demolition of FC Augsburg on the road. Six different players found the net as Leipzig moved five points behind leaders Bayern.
Meanwhile, champions Bayern Munich extended their perfect start, defeating Borussia Mönchengladbach 3-0 away despite the hosts being reduced to ten men. Goals from Joshua Kimmich, Raphael Guerreiro, and a strike by teenager Lennart Karl sealed the win.
Borussia Dortmund edged 1. FC Köln 1-0 at Signal Iduna Park, thanks to a late winner from Maximilian Beier, lifting them back into the top-four race.
Elsewhere, TSG Hoffenheim beat 1. FC Heidenheim 3-1, while VfL Wolfsburg secured a narrow 1-0 win away at Hamburger SV.
