Super Eagles team B otherwise known as the CHAN Eagles have rounded off the first phase of their training session ahead of the qualifier against Ghana next month.
The team led by Super Eagles interim coach Austin Eguavoen and his assistants Fidelis Ilechukwu and Daniel Ogunmodede trained at the the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
About 30 players from Nigeria Premier Football League club sides took part in the training sessions.
Austin Eguavoen while speaking with journalists after yesterday’s session said he is happy with the technical prowesses of the players.
The players having concluded the first round of training sessions will return to their respective club sides and regroup agin next week as they continue to prepare for the two-legged affair.
The first leg will hold on December 20 in Ghana while the second leg is will take place seven days later in Nigeria.
The CHAN Eagles have been absent from the last two editions of the tournaments and will look to pick the ticket over the two legs.
Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda between February will host the 2024 edition of the tournament billed for Febuary 1-28, 2025.
