The exhibition bout is a culmination of personal and professional beef between the two entertainers.

It started when Speed Darlington allegedly offered Portable 500,000 to perform at his show which angered the latter as he claims he charges N20m per performance.

Speed Darlington said he regrets contacting him and claimed that Portable insulted his mother which intensified the animosity between the duo.

Having defeated actor and entertainer Charles Okocha in a previous celebrity fight, Portable went to challenge Speed Darlington to a fight in the ring to decide who the “King of the Street” is.

The event was put together by Mygamerush as they capitalized on their rivalry, popularity and the public demand for a physical showdown.
