With Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, and Darwin Nunez struggling to step up, the Reds are keen to find a striker who can deliver next season.
Several names have been linked to Anfield, including Newcastle’s Alexander Isak and Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman. However, Liverpool’s attention has turned to Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap, valued at £40m.
According to TEAMtalk, the Reds have established contact with Delap, aiming to beat Chelsea to his signature.
Delap’s impressive rise has continued despite Ipswich’s Premier League struggles. Chelsea had been advancing on a move for the former Manchester City man, but Liverpool’s interest has thrown a spanner in the works.
Meanwhile, Chelsea remain linked to Osimhen but seem hesitant to pay a high fee for the Napoli striker, who has been in impressive form while on loan at Galatasaray.
