Cristiano Ronaldo marked his 40th birthday in typical fashion, surrounded by family, friends, and accolades from his current and former clubs.
The Portuguese legend and 5-time Ballon d’Or winner is still going strong with Al-Nassr, scoring at an incredible level.
He shared a glimpse into his birthday celebrations on Instagram.
Alongside photos with his loved ones, including partner Georgina Rodriguez, Ronaldo wrote: “Thank you all for the amazing birthday messages! Had a great day with family and friends, couldn’t wish for anything better.”
Ronaldo’s current club, Al-Nassr, presented him with a custom-made cake, complete with five Ballon d’Or replicas, as he arrived for training.
The cake was adorned with pictures of Ronaldo throughout his career and featured the Saudi club’s colors.
Former club Real Madrid also extended their warmest wishes to Ronaldo on his special day. In a heartfelt message, the Spanish giants said: “Dear Cristiano, from Real Madrid, we want to send you our warmest wishes on your 40th birthday.
“Every Madridista is proud of the legend that you are and what you represent for our history. Have a great day with your family and loved ones.”
