Nigeria’s women’s senior basketball team, the D’Tigress will face two WNBA sides as they continue to prepare for the FIBA Women’s World Cup.
The D’Tigress will take on the LA Sparks and Minnesota Lynx between April 25th and 27th before the start of the season.
The Minnesota Lynx are a four-time WNBA champion, with their last triumph coming in 2017.
LA Sparks won the Championship in 2001, 2002 and 2016.
Popular Nigerian-American basketballers, Nneka and Joy “Chiney” Ogwumike played for the Los Angeles-based club.
The high-profilenl friendly matches is intend to help the seven-time Afrobasket champions tune up preparation the FIBA World Cup later in the year.
