Eric Chelle held his first training session as Super Eagles manager on Tuesday evening in preparation for the World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
The 39-year-old French-Ivorian manager held the training session with 22 of the 23 invited players for the qualifiers.
After Al Hassan Yusuf’s arrival, a second training session will be held on Wednesday evening with all players involved.
The 24-year-old New England Revolution midfielder arrived in Kigali on Tuesday night being the last player expected in camp.
Wednesday’s training session will also be closed just like the first while the final training session on Thursday will be open to journalists according to CAF regulations.
However, the Nigeria Football Federation reserves the right to allow journalists to cover all the training sessions as a privilege, not the media’s right.
Eric Chelle and his crew are putting everything in place to ensure that the Super Eagles secure maximum points against Rwanda on Friday in Kigali before taking on Zimbabwe in another crucial qualifier four days later in Uyo.
