Everton are reportedly interested in Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest star Taiwo Awoniyi.
The Toffees’ interest in Awoniyi comes after West Ham United’s failed attempt to secure a loan move for the Forest striker in January.
Everton’s need for a new striker has become increasingly pressing, with injuries to Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Armando Broja, and Youssef Chermiti. As a result, Beto is the only available striker at the club, and he has been linked with a move to Serie A before the deadline.
Awoniyi, who has earned 10 caps for Nigeria, has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter at Forest this season, with just two starts and another 14 off the bench.
Signing Awoniyi could provide a short-term solution for Everton, while also offering the Nigerian striker an opportunity to revive his career.
