Everton have completed the signing of England international, Jack Grealish from Manchester City on a season-long loan, with an option to buy next summer for around £50 million.
The Toffees will pay a reported £12 million loan fee and cover a large share of the 29-year-old’s wages, believed to be close to £300,000 per week.
Grealish arrives as one of Everton’s most high-profile signings in recent years, joining the club at the start of a new chapter at their 52,769-capacity Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Manager David Moyes hailed the move as a major boost, backing the midfielder to rediscover his best form and force his way back into England contention ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Speaking to Evertontv, Grealish described the switch as “massive” and said the warm reception from fans made his decision easy. He will wear the number 18 shirt, a nod to former Everton icons Wayne Rooney and Paul Gascoigne, after consulting Rooney before finalising the move.
For Everton, the deal signals serious ambition after last season’s 13th-place Premier League finish, while for Grealish, it offers a fresh platform to reignite his career after limited minutes at City.
