Bournemouth took the lead against the run of play as City were punished for slack passing and loss of concentration. Matheus Nunes played a wayward pass and Bournemouth capitalised.

Evanilson eventually bundled the ball home from a Justin Kluivert poke.
However, the visitors leveled within five minutes of the second half through Erling Haaland, who slid in at the back post to meet Nico O’Reilly’s cross.
Haaland limped off on the hour mark, but his replacement Omar Marmoush made an instant impact, scoring City’s winner with a low shot that somehow went through Kepa’s legs.
City nullified Bournemouth in the second half and eased into the semi-finals, where they’ll face Nottingham Forest at Wembley Stadium.
