Fiorentina beat Inter black and blue in rescheduled Serie A fixture

Moise Kean impressed the home fans as he bagged a brace in Fiorentina's impressive win over the defending champions in a rescheduled Serie A match on Thursday night.

Fiorentina outclassed Inter Milan with an impressive second half performance as they secured a 3-nil win at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

A quick remainder if you have forgotten, the match is the continuation of Matchday 14 fixture abandoned to to an health emergency.

Edoardo Bove slumped on the pitch after 15 minutes into the match and was rushed to the hospital afterwards.

Consequently, the match was abandoned and scheduled for a later date – today.

The Italian midfielder has since been discharged after undergoing  surgery to install a Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) which can help prevent fatal cardiac arrest situation.

It’s interesting to note that Edoardo Bove returned to the stadium tonight for the first time after 67 days.

The former Juventus striker came close to scoring twice but was denied by Yan Sommer.

Fiorentina

Luca Raineri breached Inter Milan’s defense eventually as he found himself in space from a corner kick before slamming the ball into the bottom left corner.

Moise Kean doubled the lead eight minutes later with a thumping header from Dodo’s cross.

Kean scored his second goal late into the match as he took advantage of DiMarco’s horrendous back pass to put the ball into an empty net.

Fiorentina won 3-0 as they maintain their grip on the fourth spot with 42 points.
