Nigeria’s junior women’s football team, the Flamingos, has arrived in Algiers, the capital of Algeria, in preparation for the second leg of the final round of the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier.
The Flamingos and it’s coaching staff arrived Algiers on Wednesday ahead of Friday’s showdown with the host.
Nigeria take a healthy advantage into the second leg as they look to qualify for the World Cup in Morocco later this year.
The first leg ended 4-0 in favor of Nigeria when they hosted the Algerian ladies in Ikenne last weekend.
Algeria will host the Flamingos in Blida on Friday for the return leg.
