Former Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo celebrates 36th birthday (photos)

Odion Ighalo, the former Manchester United striker  turns a year older today.

Ighalo shared pictures on his social media page as he marks his 36th birthday anniversary.

The Super Eagles striker has enjoyed a long career that has spanned through two decades.

Ighalo started his career with Prime FC on the Nigerian league. He also played for the defunct Julius Berger before moving to Europe.

The Super Eagles striker played for Udinese, Granada, Watford, Changchun Yatai, Al Hilal among others.

One of Odion Ighalo’s career highlights was his stints at Manchester United becoming the first Nigerian to play for the 13-time Premier League champions.

Ighalo scored five goals in 23 appearances for the Red Devils during his six months loan spell from Shanghai Shenshua in January 2020.

Odion Ighalo currently plays for Al-Wehda in the Saudi Pro League. He joined the club in 2023 and has scored 23 goals in 68 matches.
