Gutierrez put Girona in front in the 21st minute, and then created the second for Martinez. However, Tapia equalized for Leganes, in the 24th minute, before Cruz also equalized to make it 2-2.
In the second half, Stuani scored from the spot to make it 3-2. An own goal from Gonzalez made it 4-2 for Girona.Munir El Haddadi however scored a 3rd for Leganes to make the match 4-3.
Stuani celebrated his goal by commemorating with the City of Valencia currently undergoing a huge crisis.
In other games, Osasuna defeated Real Valladolid 1-0, as they climbed to 4th on the league. The winning goal coming from a Budimir penalty in the 19th minute.
