Manchester City secured back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time since October with a convincing 4-1 victory over West Ham at the Etihad Stadium.
Savinho continued from where he left off last weekend, inspiring the win, for Pep Guardiola’s men. His attempted effort took a deflection off Vladimír Coufal to break the deadlock in the 10th minute.
Erling Haaland doubled City’s lead with a header in the 42nd minute, and the pair combined again in the second half, with Haaland netting his ninth goal in six PL games against West Ham.
Phil Foden added a fourth before Niclas Füllkrug scored a late consolation for the Hammers.
The defeat leaves West Ham in 13th spot, with pressure mounting on Julen Lopetegui’s shoulders.
Manchester City remain in sixth place, just two points behind Chelsea who occupy the last Champions League spot.
The champions will now turn their attention to an FA Cup third-round clash against Salford next weekend.
